Early Black Friday cycling deals at Chain Reaction Cycles & Amazon

We've still got over a week and a half to the big day of deals, but that's not stopping Amazon & CRC getting the deals in...

Black Friday's not here yet but if you head over to Amazon or Chain Reaction Cycles you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise.

Both of these enormous retailers - top in their respective markets (Chain Reaction's being cycling, and Amazon's being, well, everything) - are already filling their web pages with stunning deals that are barely seeing out the day before being used up.

Time is of the essence. While we've got some advice for taking advantage of Amazon's deals a little earlier than other people, unfortunately we can't give you any advantages with Chain Reaction Cycles, you're on your own.

If your one of Amazon's Prime members - that's the e-retailer's subscription model that gives you perks like free shipping and access to the company's streaming service - you'll have extra early access to the deals.

Don't despair if you're a lowly Amazon standard user, you can sign up for a free Amazon Prime 30-day trial by following the link below. Not only will the upgrade give you early access to all of the deals you're soon to read about, you'll be able to use all of the other Amazon perks for the duration of your trial.

>Sign up to Amazon Prime here

There are some great deals waiting for you here, and there'll be plenty more in the days to come. Keep an eye on the release time for the Amazon deals, though, we wouldn't want you to miss out.

With regards to Amazon, I'll say it again - how about you promote a business that pays some tax and doesn't shirk their moral and social responsibilities?

You click through and it supports production of "free" online cycling-related articles, paid for by Amazon and 100% tax deductable. Is that a worthy cause? Or let's put it another way, what does your government do for cyclists with the tax take?

Collectivist nonsense; Amazon provides a useful supplier and marketplace service, any more tax they pay will inevitably lead to higher prices for customers.  The only real public responsibilities are to not break base Common Law and to treat other people decently.

I value Amazon because I can buy direct and marketplace goods which are either not available elsewhere or are more affordable.
