Islabikes host pop-up shop in London

Pop-up shop for growing-up cyclists

In a first for the company Islabikes are going to be hosting a pop-up shop in Battersea Square, London from Friday 7th April until Sunday 9th April 2017.

The children’s bicycle experts will be bringing their showroom experience to the Square Gallery, Battersea Square, London SW11 3RA and will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m each day. Their advisors will have a full fleet of small and not so small bikes on hand to fit kids of all ages (and some adults) and will be available to offer advice and answer any questions that you might have on the range of bikes designed from the frame up through to the custom Islabikes components to fit littler bodies and body parts.

This brief appearance in the capital is the first in what will be part of a nationwide calendar of events where customers will get the opportunity to experience the category-leading (and road.cc review top-scoring) kid’s bikes first hand from their balance bikes, through road, CX and mountainbikes to their new Pro Series range for budding future champions.

As well as travelling the country to appear at rounds of the National Cross Country Series races Islabkes will also be popping up at the Tweedlove Bike Festival in May and Eroica Britannia in June.

Islabikes’ Marketing Director, Dave Bowater said: “Getting on the road with a fleet of our bikes is a great way to meet with our customers face to face and to offer advice on all aspects of children’s cycling in person.

It’s an exciting prospect for us and we are really looking forward to building on last year’s events schedule.”

Jo Burt has spent the majority of his life riding bikes, drawing bikes and writing about bikes. When he's not scribbling pictures for the whole gamut of cycling media he writes words about them for road.cc and when he's not doing either of those he's pedaling. Then in whatever spare minutes there are in between he's agonizing over getting his socks, cycling cap and bar-tape to coordinate just so. And is quietly disappointed that yours don't He rides and races road bikes a bit, cyclo-cross bikes a lot and mountainbikes a fair bit too. Would rather be up a mountain.
