As we reported a couple of weeks back this year's Cycle Show hits Earls Court from the 8th to the 10th of October, we'll be there walking the halls and you can join us at a special discounted price if you book in advance and use the special road.cc discount code: RCC which will get you in for £10.50 instead of £15 – all bookings are subject to a one-off £1 booking charge… but you can spread that by buying more than one ticket per booking. Anyway enough small print what can you expect to see at the show?
Plenty, is the answer we'll be taking a closer look at who will be there and what they will be showing in the coming weeks, but for now let's have a quick gander at what are likely to be some of the stars of the show.
First up, Assos - we didn't get the chance to look at their stand at Eurobike so we'll definitely be checking out the Swiss cycling style-meisters' wares this time around, we'll also be hot-footing it to the Shutt VR stand to check out their winter jersey line up.
We'll also be taking a good look at the Cooper bikes's stand, we saw them at Eurobike but we'll be able to take a closer look on home turf, we'll be particularly keen to have a look at that Sturmey Archer 3 speed fixed, the same goes for Peugeot who are launching back in to the UK - we'll be looking to see if they will be bringing in the very interesting carbon fast trekking bike - the Moov'It.
Peugeot stablemates, Bianchi will be there giving you the chance to check out the new Sempre and the super-high end Oltre launched earlier this year. We really liked what Demon Frameworks were doing last year, both at the Cycle Show and the European Handmade Bicycles Exhibition so we'll be dead interested to see what they've got to show off this time around.
The same goes for Condor Cycles too, this will be the first public airing for their 2011 bike range after seeing the Condor Barracchi for Mavic Ltd edition they produced during the Tour de France we'll be homing in on the latest version of the Barracchi as soon as the show's doors open.
We'll also be making a bee line for the Mosquito bikes for a heavy fix of bike bling, mebbe they'll have the 2011 Fixie Inc Peacemaker with its new QR Mudguard System and spray reducing downtime "beard". As well as Fixie Inc Mosquito also sell Pegoretti and a whole host of other interesting bike brands like Cinelli, Surly, Moots, Kuota (maybe they'll have a Kuota road.cc bike? Stranger things have happened. And for a further does of handmade loveliness be sure to check out the Milani stand too.
Specialized always have one of our favourite stands at Eurobike and word is they are going to be bringing some pretty special bikes for the London show too in the last couple of years their R&D department as given the world the awesome Shiv TT bike, Fabian Cancellara's Project Black Roubaix SL3 and the frankly sublime S-Works carbon tandem, so we'll definitely be make a special trip to their stand. Oh, and of course there's also all those über fashionable urban bikes in their Globe range too.
On the component side of things Campagnolo will be there showing off their 2011 range and KCNC will be back again with lots of light weight componentry, like the very snazzy Kniife pedals (pictured), much of it CNC machined to within an inch of its life. BBB bike components will be there too- there stuff has always done well in road.cc reviews so well be interested to see their range on display in the flesh too.
All this is just scratching the surface of what there will be to see - we'll have more stories on the bike, kit and componentry that will feature at this year's Cycle Show over the next couple of weeks.
To book go to www.cycleshow.co.uk/rcc or call 0844 848 0132 and don't forget to use the road.cc discount code: RCC

I went a few years ago. Nothing to buy whatsoever.
I would hope this has changed for me to go along, otherwise it's just one big window shopping trip.
I'm coming along for this - first time ever - with the other half and a friend. Does there tend to be much stuff on sale? If there are bargains to be had then I'd better prepare the credit card!
@andylul, any clues one what Ribble will be bringing?
Ribble Cycles at D18 - get in...
