Scottish Bike Show 2012 dates announced
An extra day, a larger hall and more brands are all promised for next year's Scottish Bike Show at Glasgow's SECC on Friday to Sunday April 13th-15th 2012.
According to the organisers, this year's inaugural event attracted 5,100 visitors who in turn raised over £3,000 for The Prostate Cancer Charity.
Scottish bike retailer Alpine Bikes along with Sustrans, Cycling Scotland and Singletrack magazine are all confirmed sponsors with "The Scottish Bike Show Sportive" also taking place on Sunday 15th April. The route is still in planning but, according to organiser Rowan Mackie, "TSBS Sportive will include the beautiful scenery of Loch Lomond and hopefully mark the start of the sportive calendar in Scotland."
All ride entries for the choice of two "challenge" and "sportive" distances will also provide one-day admittance to TSBS.
