Video: Tour of Britain Stage 4 Preview - Carlisle to Blackpool Tower

IG Sigma's Dan Lloyd takes us through tomorrow's stage & talks mid-race refuelling tactics...

Tomorrow the Tour of Britain heads south again, but there's nothing soft about the route from Carlisle to Blackpool as Dan Lloyd demonstrates in this video preview.

As well as riding and previewing the route the IG Sigma Sport ridertakes us through fuelling strategies on a stage like this. Dan also talks about post-ride recovery and how riders with an eye on the days to come conserve energy even in the midst of the race. Oh, and if you want to pick up some free Tour of Britain team memorabilia - Dan has advice on the best places to find it.

Last year's stage to Blackpool was cancelled when high winds on the fells raised safety fears this time out the weather forecast looks a lot more benign and after some serious ups and downs through the Lake District and the Lancashire hills Mark Cavendish and co will be hoping things are set up nicely for a sprint finish in the shadow of Blackpool Tower.
