PEdAL ED launches their first women's collection

The Women collection from the Japanese cycling apparel brand features jerseys, bibs, jackets and base layers, and is available to buy now.

PEdAL ED has just launched a new women's collection for spring/summer, which is their first dedicated entirely to female cyclists.

The gear was made in conjunction with riders all over the world ranging from pros to adventurers, designed in Japan for warm weather riding in comfort and subtle style. The two jerseys are the Hane (€150) and the Kawa Essential (€125). The Hane (shown above) is a lightweight, high-performance jersey with an innovative high stretch and highly breathable fabric, with three big rear pockets for storing essentials. The stripe along the back is said to support the pocket capacity along with ergonomic seams for a proper fit, and it comes in black, white or maroon colours. 
The Kawa Essential is made for relaxed rides and training, with PEdAL ED's 'Sensitive' fabric providing a stretchy fit. It's got reflective front and rear logos, and comes in navy, turquoise or red colourways.

The shorts on offer are the Tsuki bibs (€180) and the Shizen regular shorts (€155) and both come with top quality Cytech chamois pads for rear comfort and a four-way stretch fabric. The Tsuki has a back support structure in the straps to support the rider during intense efforts for a more comfortable and stable experience, while decreasing pressure across the shoulders.
The other items in the collection are the Hada merino baselayer (€60), Vesper packable jacket (€108) and Vesper vest (€95).

Arriving at road.cc in 2017 via 220 Triathlon Magazine, Jack dipped his toe in most jobs on the site and over at eBikeTips before being named the new editor of road.cc in 2020, much to his surprise. His cycling life began during his students days, when he cobbled together a few hundred quid off the back of a hard winter selling hats (long story) and bought his first road bike - a Trek 1.1 that was quickly relegated to winter steed, before it was sadly pinched a few years later. Creatively replacing it with a Trek 1.2, Jack mostly rides this bike around local cycle paths nowadays, but when he wants to get the racer out and be competitive his preferred events are time trials, sportives, triathlons and pogo sticking - the latter being another long story.
