We’ve been for a wander round iceBike 2019 this week to see the latest bikes, gear and gadgets from Madison, one of the biggest bicycle trade distributors in the UK. They supply everything from Shimano components to Genesis bikes and everything in between. Here are some of our highlights…

Genesis Equilibrium 725 with Shimano 105
We think this version of the Genesis Equilibrium might be the most handsome we've seen, with the silver version of Shimano's 105 groupset matching with the seatpost and stem. We can't find it on the Genesis website yet (link to the frameset above) but the price tag says £1,399, coming with a Reynolds 725 heat-treated chromoly frame, full 105 and Donnelly tan wall tyres to finish the classic appearance.
Connor Swift's custom National Champion Genesis Zero SL Disc
The standout bit of bike porn from the show was this custom Genesis Zero SL Disc made for current national champ Connor Swift. A GB colour scheme throughout, a Yorkshire Rose on the downtube and some paint splash effects at the front all feature, with a super-slammed Pro stem and Dura-Ace rims and drivetrain.
K-Edge Di2 Junction Box Mount
As the K-Edge rep told me at the show, they're a brand for "snobby roadies" who demand high-quality finishing touches to their bikes... and the latest is this stainless steel mount for Di2 junction boxes that wraps around your stem. Made in the USA with a weight of 6.6g and a 0.9mm height that won't affect your stack, it's a neat and practical addition to your front end.
Genesis CGR fork
More from Genesis, and this has been a long time coming for many Croix de Fer owners... a thru-axle compatible carbon fork to replace the steel one it comes with. It has loads of mounting options and routing for a dynamo light, and can also be fitted to lots of other frames with some headset adjustment. The first two arrived in the UK this month and they will be £349.99 when they go on sale soon.
Profile Design DRV AEROa handlebar
The DRV Aeroa has been introduced as an affordable option with some aero benefits. Internal cable routing and width options from 36cm to 44cm are available, and they have an RRP of £69.99.
Air Fom airless tyre system
These inserts actually fit inside your regular tyre, making mounting far easier than systems such as Tannus with tacks that fit across the rim to attach the tyre. It's a precision-engineered, multi-layer insert that can last up to a claimed 10,000 miles and is said to corner far better than existing airless options as the compressive force when riding them is more akin to the pressure on inflated tyres with a normal amount of psi. We're waiting for some more conclusive rolling resistance data and have our names down for a test set in the near future.
Lazer Aeroshell, Flanders Edition
This Flanders-inspired design makes a super-cool addition to Lazer's Z1 helmet... and that concludes our round-up!

Wow, that Equilibrium
*thinks* are there aftermarket tan hoods available for 105?
