Six of the best cycling shoes - Knitted, fitted and kitted out tech

Looking for new cycling shoes? Be sure to check out these 6 new shoes from Giro, Bont, Pearl Izumi and more (3 more to be precise)

There’s never a bad time to buy a new pair of shoes, and if you’re in the market for some new footwear, you might be interested to know there are some interesting advances being made at the high end.

At the recent Eurobike show we got a first look at some of the latest shoes, featuring such innovations as liquid metal, knitted uppers, pressure reducing cutouts and more Boa dials than you can shake a stick at.

Here are the shoes featured in the video above:

- 15 of the best performance road cycling shoes — stiff shoes for fast feet from £45 to £900

David worked on the road.cc tech team from 2012-2020. Previously he was editor of Bikemagic.com and before that staff writer at RCUK. He's a seasoned cyclist of all disciplines, from road to mountain biking, touring to cyclo-cross, he only wishes he had time to ride them all. He's mildly competitive, though he'll never admit it, and is a frequent road racer but is too lazy to do really well. He currently resides in the Cotswolds, and you can now find him over on his own YouTube channel David Arthur - Just Ride Bikes

Liz Hurley is the best shag ever. Of course, I've never tried her, but I'll put her in my list of "six of the best".
