Perhaps not the best place to practice since had he gone over the railling the drop is about 30 foot. Then again our police are perhaps not the brightest.
I for one feel sympathy for the bloke.
And as ever, US cops are much worse.
This chap should take comfort from not being in the same league as the FBI BATF gun-safety guy who shot himself in the foot while giving a lesson on the safe handling of firearms. ( I'd link to youtube but some of the associated clips on similar subjects are just too horrible).
Real men jump stairs.....whilst chucking in a barspin...and doing a 360....on a tricycle.
He's no Danny MacAskill is he?
Would he have tried that if he hadn't been wearing a helmet?
Is there a safe way to cycle down stairs?
I used to cycle down the stairs into school every day. never had a problem. weight back behind the saddle. back brake on front brake off.
these were proper normally steep stairs not the flattened out ones.
There's defintely safer ways than going very slowly and turning your front wheel when you get to the bottom.
Though I'm pretty surprised that the police are doing this in the first place, they used to give us loads of crap about doing it at the stations when we were kids...
Define safe.....
Shouldn't laugh but …
Impossible not too!
