Summer
Summer, no rain.
Blue sky summer days, the hotter the better. Followed closely by blue sky winter days, the colder the better.
I'm an Autumn fan, cool enough to go harder for longer, the added challenge of wet roots and leaves off road and changing grip levels on road. Its also still just about warm enough to clean the cack off the bike (and me) after a ride out as well!
I love Autumn. Beautiful colours and crisp air.
Summer!
I think all cyclists love summer and the feel of short sleeves and no rain cape but I must say those bright but cold winter days really blow the cobwebs away for me.
Spring. The sun is out, its not too hot but warm enough for short sleeves..
Autunm for me. Fitness still in the bank. Crisp morning air and watery sunshine warming up nicely. It's the challenge of second guessing the weather and what to wear. A bit of cross and mtb to spice things up too.
Late spring for me, when the miles really ramp up and summer just around the corner, magic!
Spring for me, a day that is a bit chilly is ideal
It's got to be Autumn. Just as the leave are turning, not falling though. And emptier roads. Oh, that'll be this weekend
Summer!
Hot sunshine, sweat running down me.
Autumn, as car drivers stay at home later. The morning rides becoming quieter and blissfully peaceful.
Unexpected sunshine in Winter - dry, crisp, bright, alive, stolen time.
impossible answer ... i wouldn't be able to choose one in place of another. Everyday on the bike whatever the weather is one of lives true wonders... but... at a push, cycling in the summer on the hottest day of the year on a massive climb and the sweat is dripping off you and the best thing is ..... when you get home the TdeF is in the mountains and its all kicking off to enjoy with a beer and good friend
Spring!
Winter when it's dry
At the onset of summer....perfect
All seasons - I just love to ride my bike.
Got to be a crisp fresh spring morning!
autumn and winter when the tourist have left my home town of Blackpool and the roads are quiet.
all four seasons
Winter for crisp mornings, building a base
Spring working on speed for race season
Summer long days in the saddle
Autumn little break then start all over again.
There isn't a wrong weather for riding just the wrong clothes
It's got to be spring for me, after being cooped up on the turbo in the garage most of the winter.
Spring
Winter
Even though it means extra maintenance, it brings out the defiance in me , especially when the rain is lashing in my face ...come on then ! Is that all you've got ?
Winter is the best time to ride. I prefer it because i don't sweat as much. I also like the challenge of riding in the winter, because you have to deal with fog and rain.
Spring - the world reawakens
Autumn has to be mine. The change in colours and light, also the chance of getting a cool crisp morning with a blue sky is unbeatable
Long hours of daylight, fair weather, warm winds, high pressure systems enforce predictable weather for days if not weeks. Tyres need pumping up less. Skyrides a plenty, The Tour on TV and Dunwich Dynamo. Summer for me.
