Summer is fine,
Winter is good,
Spring is never rude,
But overall Autumn is sublime
What with the clean air
And warm drink waiting at home
Winter - just love the cold mornings
Summer! Nice long days to get in some big rides
Winter gets my vote too. Except when the roads are icy!!
I like the cold sunny winter mornings the most but there aren't as many as i would like in the winter so I would go for spring, not too hot not too cold and not much rain
This time last year, I got a single speed to save money on the commute. I was lucky enough to make a friend who showed me that riding through London is not that dangerous. In a month time I was introduced to Strava, sportives, legs shaving, riding in all conditions and all possible distances with a smile on my face and a great sense of accomplishment, got a race bike and then another race bike and then yet another one, reading all the sport science I could read, joined a sport and exercise MSc, being one of the fastest amateurs out there just because I love every meter of pedalling . I wish I could win this bundle for my friend Ryan, a man so humble and so helpful whom I never get the chance to thank enough. Ryan, sorry I decided to ride on tubulars and thank you for coming and picking me up whenever I get a flat because I am too snob to carry a tyre. My favourite season is obviously the start of autumn.
My favourite season is the spring in the uk. After the winter the plants are coming back to life and there is a whole summer and fall to look forward to.
The best time of the year is definately summer.
Feel the hot air, the sweat on your skin and the need of water. Ride the alps and each day is brighter than the day before. That's cycling.
Cold, crisp late spring morning; starting cold knowing that as soon as the sun comes up it'll be hot, hot, hot.
A boring answer, but true none the less: summer.
That Harrington jacket could make the autumn commute a lot more enjoyable though
Late spring when I have more free time to get out and ride.
summer for me... up dead early, breakfast, head out before 6am... hours in the saddle with little traffic (especially on Sundays) and home again with plenty of time to still spend a full day being a family man. Cycling while the world wakes up makes a good ride a great ride.
i love riding in the dark, it has to be winter for me
Any time it's not hurling it down with rain.
Autumn
Snow on the fields sun in the sky.
Any time it's not hurling down.
Spring - clear the rust from the legs. I have to admit that I am a fair weather cyclist.
Another vote for a windless day in Spring!
Autumn
Any season at all as long as I'm riding
Spring is the best time of the year, makes me feel like a bear waking up from hibernation.
Summer night rides and foggy autumn mornings!
The off season
Gotta be crisp autumn mornings, cos you can wear 3/4 length knee warmers - sexyyyyy.
Winter - the roads are ley for true cyclist to roam
Summer
Autumn because it means I can have my CX tyres on my bike and when I get bored can take that short-cut across the field. Plus riding in proper weather can be fun
Spring or Autumn, when it's dry with a nice fresh chill in the air
Love cycling home at night in the SUMMER, when it is cool but not cold!
